When I bought my surefire, I bought 3 sets of batteries. They were cheap as well. I think I paid $5 a set.

Last set went dead a couple of weeks ago.

Just bought some at Wal Mart, paid $9 for a set of Duracell.

I need something cheaper! Damn flashlight was costly enough, I can't afford to be running $10 batts in it as well.

Anyone got a hookup for cheap 123 batts?

Check the TEAM FORUM, some dude selling them cheap, otherwise get em directly from SUREFIRE>

I got some off ebay, shipped directly from hong kong. I wanna say they were about $13 for 10 of them, cheapest I ever found. They worked good too. Didn't last quite as long as the surefire ones, but barely noticable. For the price I couldnt beat it.

On Ebay the current price averages about U$1 per Hong Kong battery. About U$1.50 for Surefire brand.
So a 50 pack will be about U$40 plus U$10 S&H from Hong Kong.

I know Botach is often considered evil here, but I took a chance and bought a 24-pack of the CR123 (Sanyos, IIRC) for less than $20. They're not as long-lasting as Surefires, from what I understand.

Ebay is a good place for batteries. My stepsons buy 9v in the 75 count box for $40.
We run through 9v playing paintball pretty fast.

Surefire sells them for $1.25 each. Shelf life is about 10 years... ok 5 years. They sell them at cost I guess to sell more lights.

I buy from surefire - I am sure there are other good deals - you get screwed at local stores buying packs of two though

Yes, but if you wait on an order from Botach you risk not having a working flashlight when the sun runs out of hydrogen.
