Am I reading their site correct? $500 for 1,000 of 7.62 x39? They should be hung. Don't want to waste a round on them.
Yeh, it's crazy and I can't believe that people pay that for it BUT I think these people paying these outrageous prices are the uninformed masses that buy to flip at a later date?
If ya think thats bad..check out their price on 223.....$1016 for 1000 rounds...more than a buck a piece of loose bulk packed ammo.
no doubt, when cabelas has wolf classic 223 for alittle over $300 for a 1000rds. still high...but damn a grand for a case of shells?????

Search through Gunbroker. You'll find better deals there......... |
According to them the list price of a 20 round box of 7.62x39 wolf black box is $26. They are a fuckin joke.
cheaper than dirt is false advertising, it is a waste of time.
Personally, I sent them an email and told them I wouldn't doing any business with them at all due to their crap ammo gouging.
I think a new constant in the universe was just born...Death...Taxes...and Cheaper Than Dirt sucks donkey "D".

Good grief this is ridiculous! I wonder how many true gun lovers they will lose over this price gouging. When the panic stops will the longtime customers return to do business with them? Geesh |

Geesh I know I've stopped buying anything from them. I "used" to be a very loyal CTD customer because they had good prices and fast shipping....now they're preying on the uninformed masses and helping to drive up speculation and prices. So screw em....they'll never get another dime of my money. But in the end...who cares....there will always be sheeple to go and buy crap at outrageous prices. |
In relationship to actual dirt, can someone provide the number of 5.56 rounds to cover a square foot, so we can figure how much CTD would charge per acre of ammo? Just sayin...

I don't know what happened to CTD, I used to look forward to their catalog and would buy stuff all the time. It goes right in the trash now. |

Who cares, they can charge whatever they want. If it's overpriced, don't buy it.
Why does everyone get so upset when something costs more than they think it should? Visit a used car dealership, you'll shit a brick. |
I started a thread with this yesterday but no one seemed too interested, they aren't high on just ammo, oh well.
"I just got home from Academy, was checking out a Serpa conceal paddle holster for my 1911. Out the door for 30 and some change after tax. Googled it to see how that compares to everyone else and Cheaper than Dirt(from the moon) has it for 25.58, toss in tax (I'm in Dallas) and shipping and they are more expensive. How long are these jokers gonna last?" |
Never bought from them and I don't plan on ever dealing with them. CTD my ass. Ammo is cheaper in the EE, according to CTDs prices anyhow.

Do they still have some of that DRT ammo in stock? I'm going on a shark hunting trip and needed to have ammo that would "dead it right there" the first time around.

Be okay if the crop yield stayed constant after that first planting... |

i always get a chuckle from that picture. |

I really don't understand how these guys stay open. Who's paying these outrageous prices?
I am surprised they are still a sight sponsor with all of the hostility here. They will not answer the critics of their pricing and would probably be better off just trying to get off the radar of the ARFCOM crowd. Honestly I wished they would choose this as well.

I have found their prices on everything else to be very reasonable. But I haven't bought any ammo from them.

Page 12. Item number MAG-373. 14 round Promag for Para P14. $17.97. I know, Arfcommers don't like promag, but it's an example.
