Ok guys, who here uses cell phones on a regular basis, and if you do, is it a contract
phone or a prepaid phone?

The reason I ask is because I have been thinking about ditching my contract
and starting up a prepaid plan with a AT&T. I have a land line and I use it
on a regular basis, but I also like the convenience of having a cell phone as
well, but I don't really use it enough to be shelling out $49-$52 every month.
My plan is currently through Verizon, and everyone I know including my girlfriend
have AT&T. So I thought about going with the prepaid phone through AT&T
where there is no monthly bill and you are only charged $1.00 per day if you
use the phone, ( and as long as you are calling someone who also has AT&T the call will cost you nothing.)  and if I am calling a non AT&T phone I will also be charged
.10 a min. So what do you guys think? Is this a smart move on my part?
