Finding them will be a painstakingly long process!!! The crews have to be very very carefull in how they remove each & every stone so as not to cause more rubble to collapse on someone else. This is just so so so sad.[:(] [:(][:(]

A week!?  They have confirmed that people are alive in the building, they can't let the people just die after surviving all that.  The must find a was to search faster than that.

They're going as fast as they can - that's a lot of rubble.
Originally they wanted to hold off until tommorow so they could check the structural integrity of the other buildings so they don't fall on the 2-3k rescuers that would be at the scene.
Apparently they are throwing caution to the wind and just going in tonite. God bless their souls.

The survivors are in the same place that the truck bomb exploded 7 years ago. The basement parking garages and Port Authority PD offices.
