Don't know about the 45 conversion but I really like my CAVarms lower. Looking to get another or two

They are great overall. The only (small) drawback I have noticed is the grip is thick enough I can't flick the safety without changing my grip (but I have small hands, so this may not apply to everyone). The quality is superb, the plastic is WAY strong enough to last forever, and the Cav Arms bunch have supported every effort ever entered into by AR15.com. They will be at Gunstock--and have donated a rifle. Buy one or several!!

I am going to watch this thread. I am also interested in one of these. My daughter is left handed, and there are very few choices when it comes to left handed guns for young shooters (without paying big bucks). She loves Orange and Pink, I am thinking a CavArms lower (I am assuming that they can be cought with telestocks) might be a good way to build her her first centerfire rifle.

Love my CAV. Its light, and strong. I have a mk1, so it has a longer than A-2 length of pull.
Its sweet. I recomend you get at least one. Also, look at the CAV forum in the Industry section. There is a thread about .45 conversions in there. If you are looking for the 'odd' colors, you better hurry, they are not going to be around for long. (They have an agreement with Armalite now). Again. please look in the industry section to find out more. |
