FORT HALL, Idaho -- A high-speed chase in Idaho ended in a crash that was caught on tape by a police cruiser's dashboard camera.
On the tape, the van can be seen swerving to miss spike strips in the street. Instead, it plows head-on into another parked cruiser while doing 70 mph.
The trooper ran from his car and was not injured, authorities said.
The driver of the van was not seriously injured.
The incident started when Fort Hall, Idaho, officers tried to issue an aggravated battery warrant to Dennis Dixey.
Police said Dixey then left in his van. The pursuit, which mostly took place on back roads, reached top speeds of 100 mph.
Authorities said Dixey now also faces at least one charge of felony eluding.
