As for cats, my classmate's grandmother raised a bobcat from kittenhood. The bobcat loved her and him (he was raised by his grandmother). That critter would attack anyone else who visited the house. It made visiting her a hazardous adventure.

Tidy Cat recently tried cat "stress relief". It SEEMED to work surprisingly well.
