It probably is, and the only reason I know that is because I just bought the DVD this weekend ...
... because we had a thread like this last week.

Fuckin' A.

Most of the other Bond movies I've seen 5+ times each.  A few 10+ times. All the Craig Bond movies I've seen once and for some of them that was once too many.

It's not that they're bad movies.  They just aren't very memorable, fun, or have much replay value, IMO.

I'm pretty sure it's not the one with David Niven.

The best of the recent Bond movies for sure. However, all the 007 movies featuring the guy in my avatar reign supreme.

The best Craig Bond Movie, Yes. Best ever? No.

The answer you seek is Goldfinger

My personal favs are:
Goldfinger
License to Kill
Dr. No
From Russia with love
Casino Royal
And even though most were terrible, I enjoy Goldeneye

I was pleased to see the P99 as Bond's sidearm.

I sincerely hope they go with it again in Spectre.

That BS with the PPK and biometric grip made me shake my head.

Who the fuck wants to watch a Jason Bourne version of James bond, as has been posted the Craig movies do not have the replayabilty of the older ones. The worst part is the plots have been not been any better. They changed the tone to serious, but haven't been bothered to do the same with plots.

Just a bit more believable / realistic IMO ... key word bit

Agreed!  Except I don't like the ending, so I stop the movie where they're boating into Venice when he tenders his resignation "...with immediate effect."

Oh, and Caterina Murino

Ivana Milicevic as Valenka (Le Chiffre's hawt girlfriend) has more screen presence.

Agreed. And Eva Green is stupid hot.

Dr. No and Goldfinger were great too, in their own way and for their time. Can't really compare them to the reboot though.
