RAFTER-S!

Rafter-S gunleather.  So damn good, my father wanted one.

Great belt.  Fits all wrangler jeans and slacks I've found, even fits my suit.

Will hold a double stack service pistol and two extra mags w/o any problems.

And!  And!  And it looks good.

+1 for Wilderness. My leather belt was always OK, but I find the Wilderness belt is better at stopping front-back twisting of my holster.

Don Hume currently, but I had been using a Milt Sparks belt.  I went and lost weight, so now the Milt Sparks is too big.

Give it a few days and it will fit fine again.

I'm doing my best NOT to let that happen!

1.5" wide black cowhide.  My only complaint is cosmetic - wish I'd asked for stainless/chrome/nickle/shiny chicago screws and buckle rather than the brass.  Brass buckle doesn't go with stainless dive watch.  Or is that too metrotactical?

How well does it work? that's the "better BDU belt", right? What kind of holster?

Milt Sparks leather belt is my favorite, but I also have used the Galco instructors belt, and a Blackhawk rigger belt.

yeah its the better BDU belt, though this one is thicker than the average one I'd get at the PX for some reason, and has velcro as well.  it works great with my Don Hume pancake holster for my Glock 23.  I also use it when wearing my London Bridge Trading Company drop leg holster and it works great.

Milt Sparks, tan 1 1/4" tan border-stitched.  I was gonna get the diamond-and-loop patterned one, but that's just too western for me.

I use a BDU belt by Eagle Industries.  So much more secure and snug than other belts I've tried.

WOW!  I happened upon the greatest Gun Belt.

I got it at ArizonaTactical just because it was the only gunbelt they had in my size.

Anyway, it's the AKER B21....    double layered with a polymer insert.  I've had it for about two weeks, and this thing is awesome.  It eliminates the need for that contour nonsense.  It's as straight today as it was when I got it two weeks ago.  No rolling or deformation at all.

That's still nothing compared to a Wilderness belt or quality leather gun belt.

The difference is in the thickness/stiffness of a true gun belt.  It keeps the belt from twisting under the weight of the sidearm.

I have both a Wilderness 5-stitch and a Milt Sparks for dressier occasions.

I recently bought a regular belt for wearing to class, since I needed a brown belt... and damn the thing is pathetic compared to that Sparks.  Once you get used to a double thick leather belt, everything else seems like cheap crap.

I can see that.  The reason I prefer the Eagle BDU belt is there are no notches/holes to worry about, so you always have the perfect fit.  I've been losing weight since I started the job back in January, and it's been nice not to have to buy a second belt for the thinner me.

Milt Sparks 1-1/2 wide, lined.(double layer of leather)  They look like hell when I throw 'em away, but I got at least 8 years out of the last two, and I live/carry/sweat in South Florida 7 days a week, all year long.  That's my 2c. Stay safe.
