Pioneer with a USB plug and auxillary plug for the iPod
My dad had a Pioneer head unit put in a '94 Ford Aerostar and had no problems. |

I have been through a couple of Alpines that I bought just becuase of thier good Ipod interface, and they worked great. My biggest problem with them is that they keep getting stolen.
IN my daily driver I have a Pioneer with the Ipod interface and front aux input. It plays CD based MP3 discs as well. I really like it, but I only use the random feature, so I am not really sure how the seek and find controls work out. I paid about $130 for the HU and less than $50 for the Ipod adaptor, and am very happy with it. The Alpines I paid about $250-400 each and was happy with as well, but once they are stolen it seems hard to justify thier extra expense. I guess the Pioneers just don't catch the eye of your average crack head. |
