Why not Nissan? The Altima and Maxima are great cars.
I don't like the styling of the current Nissans. I was sooo almost going to say 350Z, and then I thought "You know I can spend a few more and get a G35 Infiniti. "
Also, my mom had a Nissan Sentra as a rental car once when her S-10 Blazer was in the shop. That car must be built for really small people.
Forgot about the S2000 and Ford GT.
The S2000 is something else. My mom bought a used one recently and she brought it over and of course I made the obligatory test drive......... It definitley changed my opinion of Honda's ability, even though my head sticks above the roofline
Ford Crown Victoria
Mercury Grand Marquis
Lincoln Town Car
And if I had to stoop so low as to drive a unibody, I guess it'd be a Chrysler 300C or that new Dodge Charger.
ETA: I'm definitely not a Ford fan, but nobody else makes a real car anymore.
I was looking at getting a Corvette, GTO or Charger.
GTO the place wouldnt even let me drive it, so I was pissed, words where exchanged, Im not allowed back.
Corvette falls under the same GM hatered going on.
Charger I still dont know
There are some jerkoff dealers out there. Don't let one of them sour you on a car you like.
Try to find another that will work with you.
A great purchase experience only lasts a day but a great car lasts for YEARS.
Well nowhere else close has one in stock, I live in Augusta, closest iplaces to get one is going to be Columbia, Atlanta, or Jacksonville.
Too far just to look, since I dont want but a few colors.
Also GM wasnt worth a damn in giving me any help.
I'll be going back to the dealership that pissed me off after they forget me and make a better scene. Until then Im asking everyone I know to go there during thier free time to look at stuff and burn up there paperwork, time and gas driving cars. Want to do me a favor?
You're probably already familiar with this, but have you checked out www.gmbuypower.com?
You can search dealer inventory for specific colors and options.
Yea I looked. Only place that has one is the place that pissed me off, and its not the color I want.
Place will sell me one just wont let me test drive one, got pissy when I even looked inside.
They sound like a bunch of self-righteous douchebags.
Tell them you're serious about buying. Then ask to speak to the manager and report the salesman as unhelpful to a purchasing customer.
They wanna sell it to you more than you wanna buy it, believe me.
Well after I called GM cust service after they pissed me off 2 days later the sales maanger called me, said I cant drive due to "insurance" make the remark the Dodge place lat me drive a Charger and do it by myself even offered to let me drive an SRT8. At this point he accuses me of acting "childish" and gets told off and hung up on.
So he calls back saying we got "disconnected" so I tell him something along the lines of I hung up on you, you worthless motherfucker, and hung up again.\
Calls back an hour or 2 later, now Im PISSED and procede to lay down some FMJ R Lee Ermy style putdowns and hang up. they havent called back
I know it's hard but don't take their games personally. Stick to your guns and force a good deal on them.
That's the only reason you're talking to him anyway, not to argue like a couple of drunks.
Well I'll admit I got an anger problem, and I take it too far sometimes. But Im used to doing that.
Wont bother me much to wait to get something else or get it from someone else, doesnt bother me to rip your paperwor up and sling it across a room. Doesnt bother me to come back when Im sick and vomit all on someones showroom floor either.
