Ironic it's in a municipality which has an extremely high welfare participation rate.

Is that showing police lights, because police only exist under capitalism, not under a socialist police state?

Bullshit, black markets rule socialist economies and black markets are just naked capitalism. Jesus people are truly retarded now.....

and secured the use of a cavernous, two-story commercial space in Jack London Square that had gone unleased for years. The space still holds vestiges of the previous tenant, an upscale market that never fully materialized. (Quotations about food by Virginia Woolf, Julia Child, and James Beard adorn the walls downstairs.) “There’s no way in hell we’d be able to pay even a fraction of the asking price for a space like this,” Furstnau, who is mild-mannered and thin, with a puff of brown hair that looks like the inside of a dandelion, told me in June, shortly before the museum’s opening night. “I guess you could say we’re being generously hosted by the landlord.” View Quote |

Pretty sure Oakland's pawn shops and liquor stores will stand the test of time.

Capitalism is just natural selection with a scoring system. It can't be obsolete any more than could gravity. |

A huge part of his "museum" focuses on the failed banks.
He clearly doesn't understand dick about capitalism if he thinks that's some huge "gotcha!" Businesses that suck would still fail under perfect capitalism, and we aren't even close: our banking regulations fill 22,000 pages of size 9 font. |

That's like a caricature of what an anti-capitalist museum would look like. I mean if you were making a low budget comedy about urban communists, those are the kinds of exhibits you'd put on your set.

I always read "anti capitalist" as "people shouldn't be able to make their own economic decisions"
Apropos, people that are against capitalism are against individual choice... they are authoritarians. |
