Why is canned air (tetroflouroethane) so damned expensive?
Who else here loves this stuff?
It's great for many things, not the least of which is a toy. And cooling sodas quickly and without ice (hold the can upside down and spray the outside for a little).
Not sure why it's so expensive – essentially, it's just an aerosol can with everything but the propellant left out.
I agree that it's great stuff – I use it for quickly "setting" hot-melt glue – doesn't give the glue a chance to drip or run. It also makes a pretty good freeze spray for trouble-shooting electronic components.
I'd like to have an attachment that accomplished the same thing with a paintball CO2 tank - should make for cheap refills.
