Hi all,

For some reason..I can't edit my profile?

Screenshot here..warning, it's a big image (!600x1200, 550+k large). I haven't gotten around to reinstalling photoshop yet to crop it down to size...but you can clearly see there's no "save profile" button, or anything. In fact, the horizontal button bar at the top (discussion forums, EE, information, tools & services)...maybe half those buttons don't work.

Is this a freaky thing with my account specifically, or is this system wide as a whole?

From the looks of your screen shot it appears that your page hasn't completely loaded.  Are you on dial up or braod band?  What browser are you using?  Do you have a firewall up?  What kind?  Are you having this problem with any other area of the site?

DSL, Netscape. Nope, only area I'm having problems with.

It's only started recently..I'd guess around the time I renewed my membership.

I just tried it in internet exploder and it seems to work fine...looks like it's a netscape/mozilla-specific issue?

I see why.

If you look  in the bottom window...the signature. It apparently chopped off the HTML code that {:D} had been replaced with. This apparently weirded out netscape...so the end of my signature, in that editor, was the remaining code for the board. That's why it'd stop.

I never actully read through the code...just noticed my sig was obnoxiously huge....guess that's why. Ok, netscape bug.
