I was just curious if you lived in a community that allows you to have a "home-based" business and post hours as required by Federal law, could you save costs and just make money transferring used or new firearms. In other words, you are not having the cost of rent, not hooked up with a distributor or manufacturer that wants you to have a certain amount of their product on hand, etc.

Before you apply for an FFL - be sure to get a zoning variance and local busness license. ATF would otherwise try to deny your application if it was not in a commercialy zoned area. As for what you do with that FFL - its up to you. If you think you can show a profit acting as a "broker" and just doing transfers then go for it.
