Can you imagine working for a 'company' that has a 635 employees and has the following employee statistics?

29 have been accused of spouse abuse.

7 have been arrested for fraud.

9 have been accused of writing bad cheques.

17 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses.

3 have done time for assault.

71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit.

14 have been arrested on drug-related charges.

8 have been arrested for shoplifting.

21 are currently defendants in lawsuits.

84 have been arrested for drink driving in the last year.

Can you guess who this is?

It's the 635 members of the House of Commons, the same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.

Can you imagine working for this Company ?

The Company has a little over 500 employees.

29 have been accused of spousal abuse.

21 are current defendents in lawsuits. In 1998 alone, 84 were stopped for drunk driving. Can you guess which organization this is ?

It is the 535 members of the United States Congress. The same group that perpetually cranks out hundreds upon hundreds of new laws designed to keep the rest of us in line.

Yeah I found the exact same thing posted around about the US Congress. Be interesting to see which is the real one (if either).

The Monarchy would probably have far worse numbers if you included "former employees"

I can't believe that it took like 10 years for that old bit of news to hit the other side on the pond....I thought technology had improved somewhat. I did not realize that we were still using the Mayflower to transport internets back to the old country. Honestly, for the house and senate that looks low..
ETA: only 21 pending lawsuits? And only 14 drug arrests? I'd expect more than 14 drug Convictions.
