Since they are no longer in touch with America can we just vote some states out?

In order of preference:

1. CA
2.  IL (not really vote out, just divide it up)

If you're willing to divide IL up (remove Cook county, presumably) then you'd be willing to divide California. I'd rather live in Sonora or Jamestown Califonia than Austin Texas, gun laws be damned. Having actually grown up in California's central valley, I can tell you that most folks you run into are more likely to be conservative and quite normal.

Sonora /Jamestown is more like the old west than Austin is.

No kidding. I'm from Yuba County. Same there. When I lived there we had the only State rep with an A+ rating from NRA. Hated to be dictated to by LA and The City.

+1

The ant burning is starting to get old, real quick. I know it's popular to slam California, and I'd be lying if I didn't say I enjoy living in Ohio more, but Jesus Christ - it isn't THAT bad there. Alot of gun owners are talking out of their ass, and they have no idea what the state is really like. California is probably one of the most misunderstood states in the nation. Jesus, you'd think they've never even bothered to drive through it. It's mostly farmland.

Counties are the blame, not the State.
In CA throw out Counties:

SF
LA
Alameda
Santa Barbara
Monterey
and you have one large Conservative State.

In WA omit King County.
In IL ditch Cook County.
and so on and son....

For fucking decades California has absorbed all of the other states rejects. They brought their fucked up politics with them. CA has been ruined by legal American immigrants.

Look it up. CA used to be a VERY conservative state. The liberal swing is very recent.

It can happen to anyone. From my limited memory, and in talking to life long residents twice my age, it seems like things really started going downhill around 86. I can't say why, but that's the year alot of them pick, which is strange, because the AWB came in 89. There must have been a bunch of other things.

I have yet to find a single thing I that I miss about high prices and libtards.
I would rather go back to Iraq and get shot at some more than Cali.

Likewise. Two counties by STL, and Crook. Dunno about the ones out in the western half - probably more republicans failing to show at the polls than a predominance of dems.

Dump Crook County and the rest of the state would rejoice. And probably pass CCW as one of its first orders of business.

I've got a better idea
let's give the libs (and du) the idea and let them vote us out.
they can have their socialist paradise and we'll have what used to be called the USA

Might be a lot simpler if we let them believe they came up with the idea.

California is pretty conservative.  Our politics are screwed up because of the ridiculous gerrymandering the Democratic Party has been doing for decades.

This is the state the passed Prop 187.  And California is the biggest gun-buying state in the nation, believe it or not!

CA has the 8th largest economy in the world.  Voting CA would be suicide for the rest of the country.  Living here part time now, I have to say most people are either conservative or just don't give a shit about politics.  This is in the Bay Area too!  I mean if CA was really a liberal haven how do you think Sswwaarrttzzeenneggaarr got elected?

I will say one thing about Khalifornians though, they are ultra sensitive, as you guys already can see from this thread, like little girls almost .  They hate it when you disagree with them,  they don't appreciate a difference of opinion.

I mean, even a medium size contingent from the North with a flanking manuever coming from Indiana should do the trick, no?

Be honest, that would be alot more fun than voting.
