I have been wanting a lever gun in .357 mag for some time as a companion to my 3 revolvers in this caliber.

I saw a Rossi lever action .357 at a gunshop today with a brass frame, but I'm unable to find it anywhere on the net. It has a round 20" barrel and is blued. It's used and they are asking $375. They also have a new one with steel frame for $395. I like the looks and feel of the brass model though.

Any info on the brass framed model would be appreciated!!!

The price for a Marlin 1894C was about $380 at WalMart - I would buy that before $375 for a Rossi.

These rifles are a blast to shoot. I'm looking for a .44 Mag 1894 now.

Doesn't Rossi make these for Navy Arms ? Your prices appear to be in the right ballpark.
