Seriously. They're searching for minute clues. It's the same procedure you'd use of you dropped a small part on the floor.

Big impotant crime scene.

Things need to be gone over carefully and thoroughly.

Beat cops run $30-40 an hour around those parts, and have calls to handle. Detectives can't be bothered with any real work.

Solution? Get all of the cadets from the academy out on a field trip. Fun, sun and guns. Break up their monotony.

One question.

Are these cadets from the same academy that supplied the cadets that searched that park for clues to Chandra Levy's disapearance (The 'thorough' search that took place months before the remains were found).

Saw that on CNN, most of them were more interested in the camera than what may have been on the ground.

What bothered me, when I was watching them do this on FOX, was the fact that some guys were just kicking stuff as they went along.  How the heck are you suposed to find something when you ust covered it up 3 paces back?

On CNN I saw a bunch of them doing this and half of them where just walking not looking down and just kicking stuff around.  Now they have 3 lines of people not paying attention.  If there was any evidence then it was steped on and buried.
