I am NOT looking forward to the day,

You see, I work 9-1-1 and the word out is that there will be AK's falling from the sky, and blood running in the streets. This will make for a long and busy shift and to be honest.... Im not sure anyone let alone my county has the manpower/equipment needed to handle the chaos that will be thrust upon us!. What Im going to ask is that my brothers and sisters at ARFCOM please remmember to keep safety #1. I have been trying to figure out a way to make sure that the day will be safe for each and everyone.

1. Please if at all possible, stay indoors until the storm subsides.

2. If you have to go outside, Please wear a hard hat and eye protection. I would hate to have you
become one of the many that are doomed to be knocked out cold, or lose a eye from the heavy
bayonet weilding weapons of mass distruction.

3. If you live in a low lieing area please wear a life jacket ( USCG approved) to keep from the
possible rivers of blood that are said to flow through the streets.( most departments will be
tax'd as to the amount of Swift Water Rescue Tech's avail, and will be needed for only the
highest priority calls only.)

By following just these few simple safety tips, You will raise your chance of survival, and ensure that you have " More thrust's per squeeze" in your future days!.

Thank you for your cooperation,

R-32

I'm firmly in the camp of "I'll believe it when I see it" (not just for the AWB, but whenever someone promises me something) - but I have to admit that I'm pretty upbeat right about now!

I have never given money to a politician but I will write checks to my local Repub congressman and GWB. When I drop them off at the local office on 9/15, I will say why I wrote them to the office staff.
