Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Can I swap barrels on Glock 20's & Glock 30's

Hello,

I just bought 1000 rounds of 230gr hardball today for my G30 [compact .45] and I'm going shooting tomorrow with my buddy from work who has a Glock 20 [full size .45].

Just wondering if I can swap his barrel to my shorter G30. I really want to see how it handles.....and if it works out of, I may leave it on permanently to get the extra velocity of the longer barrel.

Any thoughts?

The Glock 20 is 10mm. You must mean a Glock 21.
