So the Louisville chapter of Antifa (Louisville Anti-Racist Action aka ARA) was hosting a screening of some socialist film with a panel of leftists at the University of Louisville. I was in my National Security class (law class where everyone but me bashes Trump) for most of it but towards the end I was able to make it for the Q&A.


What a joke. As soon as I sat down with my friend/fellow Arfcommer a bunch of "grungy" members (all white males, all tatted up and pierced) sat around us. All the looks at us were daggers. I was in a suit and tie but had the jacket off to show off my American Flag colored holster. My friend had an "offensive shirt" commenting on the snowflake nature of the cloud. There was triggering.

Edit: this was on the university campus so the holster was empty

The panelists, consisting of mostly white males and 3 BLM members (only 1 female, a BLM member). Most of the people in attendance (I'd say about 50 in a hall seating 200) where white males.

Antifa and BLM folks talked about their experiences in Chancellorsville. How they pounded "Nazis" and encouraged everyone to do so. They kept playing the victim card and how they will keep doing what they do until "white supremacists and racists crawl back into the hole they came from and stay there". The BLM folks were hostile towards everyone. They kept saying how they've been dealing with this for "centuries" and that "you white people" were still racist even if you call yourself "allies" of blacks and minorities. Apparently they can speak for themselves and don't want us "white knighting" (I think the pun was not intended).  

The Antifa panelists bragged about how they were getting boards shut down (like Daily Stormer) and getting white supremacists fired (teachers, doctors, and professionals were being singled out especially). They said they are all on all the "racist" social media with fake accounts and spend "40-50 hours per week" reading racist comments and plans on social media and forums. I wonder if any of them are on Arfcom...

When they talked about "white supremacist preppy white boys in buttondowns and Tiki torches" at Charolletsville I couldn't help but notice I was a white guy, in a white buttondown (trying to look professional during law school classes), with a holster. I bet they were dying for me to take that comment personally. Lol.

The panelists brought up guns for a good while. They said nobody in antifa is againgst guns. But they don't like Oathkeepers and III%ers at all. They say that these groups claim to be neutral but when stuff goes down they are always siding with police and police are always facing the protesters, not the "militia". Several of the Antifa panelists brought up violence and how they only use fists, rarely anything like a knife. And they hope it never comes to firearms because "once you open that door it's hard to close". They said members may laugh at the militia folks with their guns and armor, "LARPing around". But the tone, and their faces, showed they UNDERSTAND the training these "militia" have and it would be a slaughter on their side without end if a shot is fired. They said they didn't want to give the militia groups a reason to go join the white supremacists, and them backing out of rallies or not bothering to interfere with either side was better than the alternative. But they won't welcome any of the miliita groups or their members. Again, BLM was going on about how these groups were racists and they wouldn't show themselves in the "bad part of town west of 9th st"

Their main goal now is to continue keeping tabs on white supremacists and their social media, forums, etc, and to work the "schisms" within conservative groups, not just white supremacist groups, to divide and destroy. Additionally, everyone there should go and confront racists. Even those who support Antifa and BLM are racists, and they need to stop being racists, at the dinner table, cutting the lawn, etc.

As I'm understanding it, according to the BLM folks, the only way a white person can not be a racist is if they become slaves of black masters.

I'm going to instead accept their label and continue to live my life as I see fit.

As soon as the word racist means about the same as someone calling you an ugly poopyhead, we will as a society jump 20 years into the future.

And I love how BLM is doing everything to inadvertently be the expendable ally.

Did you record it?  At least get audio of the session?  This is what we need to start doing so we can publish their conversations.  I have an app on my phone called Smart Recorder, it picks up audio very well.  You can also close and lock your phone while it is still recording.  In certain situations I will pull my phone out, hit record, lock it and put it back in my pocket.  Very easy to do an no one things twice if check your phone as they start to walk up.

when we go to these events, we should be Grey Man, not In Your Face Man.  They will be more open and talkative about their real intentions, and we need that intel.

I can't be Grey Man. I'm known in town for my pro-gun efforts. Random folks at the grocery store still say "hey you're that guy advocating gun right and did that open carry walk by UofL! Great job!". Same with the Arfcommer who invited me. I think they would have treated us coldly just because we were not like them, no weird artsy stuff on us.

Hard to tell who is actually in which group. If you ask BLM or Antifa who is a racist, they'll tell you anyone who isn't a person of color, or who hasn't suffered like they have. They condemned, literally used that word, ANYBODY who doesn't actively use violence against racists and white supremacists, as being a racist and a white supremacist. they have taken the "you're just as bad as the person doing wrong if you don't speak out" to the extreme.

Would have loved to, but I thought it best to sit there quietly and let them lose their minds as to why I was there sitting in the front row quietly marking their faces in my mind.

Far from it, they feel emboldened. They kept going on about how two groups joined forces and they stood up to thousands of Nazis and the terrorist attack of white-on-white murder. They REALLY felt emboldened (I swear they got giddy) when they brought up Boston and the 30k people fighting racists...

They are planning on being in Lexington for the statue stuff and counter-protests. But their tactics are changing. They're wanting to do more of a flash mob form of protests so folks can't counter protest. They are monitoring our boards while at the same time being more local face-to-face and word-of-mouth in terms of organizing and spreading word on when/where events are

Actually my car was 5 feet from the building. They would have lost their minds about all the guns my friend and I had in our vehicles.

I've repeatedly called the BLM a terrorist organization on social media and the same 2 people get their panties in a wad about it. I am not friends with them, it's  a husband and wife, he's a fraternity brother of mine and his wife was a sorority sister of my wife's. Both play nothing but the race card and when confronted with facts it's racism and there's no way the BLM is a terror organization.

None taken. It is a liberal shithole but only on the outside. I've found a lot of misconceptions about the majority of people here. It's the leadership and those that influence them that suck. I've found that the West End (NW part) has plenty of white gun owners trying to keep their neighborhoods nice while drug addicts and predominantly black members of the community tear it down. A few of the mansions in the Highlands (artsy part of town for those not from here) are gun owners and only one shop in that area asked me to leave for open carrying.

I do what I do because I don't see anyone else doing it. It's made me lots of friends. When I started out I knew no gun owners, at UofL especially. But going out, doing empty holster stuff, I've networked with hundreds of pro-gun folks on campus and made dozens of friends
