I have a Tappen gas stove with electronic ignitors. The burners on the right are hard to light and the snap of the ignitor sounds weak. Left side is fine. The oven is what scares me, set the bake temp. and wait, and wait, and wait then wooof it rattles the stove. I have taken the burners apart, cleaned them checked contacts etc. The oven I removed all the baffles to access the burner cleaned very well ( I have burner brushes from when I did commerical kitchen repairs) I did find the oven ignitor had a missing screw that allowed missalignment. Every thing put back together and no left over parts.
My Question is is there one module with multiple connections for the burners and the oven? I have yet to find the module so I don't know. BTW the broiler burner lights fine.
I just don't like the idea of blowing up the kitchen.
