FPNI, least friendly city to people of color (unless rainbow), in practice, if not in name

Yerger said more than 80 percent of African American smokers use menthol cigarettes, and 45,000 African Americans die annually from tobacco-related diseases. View Quote |

This is funny.
Are they going to try and ban fried chicken next? |
|
I don't care if they ban menthol siggys, as long as I can still get me some Schlitz
|
|
"The tobacco industry targets young adults, African Americans and LGBTQ people, deceptively associating these products with fruit, mints and candy,"
Ummmm.....not sure i would have thrown the LGBTQ part and fruits in there. Sounds a little sterotypical. Do they have any data to back that claim up? |

My dad always smoked Kool menthols and drank Schlitz (or Blatz, or Hamm's, which ever one was cheaper at the time).
I'm surprised the guy is still alive at 76. |

They forgot the Seagram's Gin. They should stop that too, if they really are trying to rapidly expand the footprint of the gentrification real estate market

So the NAACP and ACLU will be denouncing this racist loss of liberty any minute now, right?

When I first started smoking, it was menthols. I'm as white as it gets. But I have a hood pass and Honorary Black Man card in my wallet so perhaps that's what caused it.
If they outlaw payday loans/check cashing stores black people are fuuuuuuuuuuuucked. |

They ban everything here. Guns? Banned. Ammo? Banned. Plastic shopping bags? Banned. Patriotism? Banned. Weed? Strongly encouraged.
Liberalism is a mental disorder, but the inmates are running the asylum here. |

Kali just keeps amazing me more and more with their shit, I do think it's a toss up here between WA and Kali. How are the succession talks going?

Why not leave the fucking cigarettes alone, and BAN Local Government instead.
|

I'm triggered. I don't normally smoke, but once or twice a year I pick up a pack of Newports.

I have allergies and asthma. I say people should do what they want.
If cigs are so bad, ban them everywhere. If not, then just shut the fuck up and let people do what they want. Fuuuuck. |

Give me a pack of Kool Filter Kings
What's next Black & Tans and Swisher Sweets. |
|
Could give a fuck.
Smokers will find a way to stick something round in their mouths to suck on. |

View Quote For San Francisco? (6% black) I'd say more like the Asian community (40%) or older Asian men |

For once, it actually is. We have to ban the cigarettes preferred by black people because they are too stupid to know what is good for them. Of course, there aren't actually any black people in San Francisco. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

SF's black community decreased from about 9% when I was there to about 3% today. The city is expensive to live in.
