If anyone here has example cadet command STX lanes OPORDs available and can email them to me or point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.  I am working to help develop some MSIIIs tomorrow and the binders of this stuff have been 'disappeared' in the past week.
Of particular value would be squad attack, recon, and KO a bunker.

...ya know...the 'Caquetan Army 81st rifle regiment' ones.

Thanks much,

Lokt

How can you have an OPORD before you've received the mission?
I mean you can have a template prepared with all 5 paragraphs ready to be filled in as information comes in.  Then when you've gotten the mission, done your backward time planning  given out your WARNO, you can start fleshing out the missing paragraphs(following the 1/3-2/3 rule of time management).
As far as the specific missions, most of them would be covered in FM 7-8, and hopefully your guys have been doing those basic drills and established unit SOPs so that you don't have to waste time teaching them, but you can still conduct quick rehearsals so everyone knows exactly what they're doing and when.

llanero - these are the prewritten, standardized OPORDs that I deliver to the cadet who is being evaluated on that lane.  He prepares his own OPORD for his squad from what I issue to him by the same method that you listed.

Edit to add: these missions are simply slight variations on the basic battle drills from the 7-8.

That's what he's talking about.  He needs something already premade that has the mission and situation already there.  Plus stuff for attachments and detachments.

I need the pre-made OPORD in order to deliver it to the cadet who is being evaluated.  All STX OPORDs are standardized so that each cadet receives an order from the T/E that is in a similar format.  The only changes are the mission and the resulting variation on the situation and execution paragraphs.

Pet peeve of mine: In Star Trek, the students at the Academy are cadets.

They're MIDSHIPMEN, damn it!

Edit.  Don't use iron sights to shoot a scoped Garand right handed from sitting.
