Does anyone here know if Cabela's ever gives discount codes similar to the way other companies do for their regular members?

If so, does anyone happen to know what the current discount codes are?

I have personally never ordered from Cabela's...my father usually makes all the orders because he's a Cabela's junkie. However, he is not the best "shopper" in the world, and rarely pays attention to whether or not he could have gotten a better deal. Oh well, we can't ALL be horse-traders. he he

If you get a Cabela's Visa card you get 2% back on purchases from Cabela's and 1% back on other purchases.

Cabela's does have discounts for those who take the time, trouble and expense to pull a FFL.

Cabela's is a [b]RIP-OFF[/b]!!!!

I have found EVERYTHING they carry on other sites for HUGE savings.

A quick example. I just purchased a Nikon Monarch scope 5.5-16.5x44 Cabela's is screwing their customers for 50 bucks MORE than most other places and I found sites that sold the same scope for 67 bucks less... That 67 dollars can be put to ammo or whatever rather than giving it to Cabela's for no good reason!

Vampire, you are not always right about Cabela's. I recently got a Leupold Vari-xII 3X9 scope from them. The best price I could find anywhere else was $219.95. Cabela's had it listed for $199.99 in their catalog. I called and was told it was
$179.99 with free shipping. They do have some good deals, you just have to find them.

OK Vampire, you are right. It's 3-9X40 for my wife's .243 deer rifle. Man, you can't slip up at all without getting caught.

Cabellas sells at far below retail. Just cause some ahole on the internet decides to sell at $2.00 above dealer doesn't mean Cabellas is a rip off.

Kmart and Walmart do the same thing. But when the chips are down these guys decide to suspend firearm sales in the interest of public safety. Remember all three will eventually destroy the firearm business as they only care about money.
