I feel it is necessary to point out that "Cheaper Than Dirt" is a common phrase, and therefore a common business name.

The cheaper than dirt most of you complain about has only one brick and mortar store, and it's in mckinney, texas...

there is also a "Cheaper than dirt" in fort worth - it is not assosciated with the online retailer.

Unacceptable. I'll accept nothing less than my usual -87% discount.

CTD has to be just trolling people now right? They can't seriously think their prices on anything are remotely competitive.

Negative, they are both part of the same company, the one in McKinney is cheaper than dirt guns, the one in fort worth is cheaper than dirt outdoor adventures, same cheaper than dirt logo in both. If they were different, one of them would be suing for copy right infringement. If you notice you have the choice of which warehouse it ships from, one is McKinney the other is Ft. Worth.

Edit to say both store fronts are severely over priced on their shit

That's why I can walk into the Fort Worth store and purchase items out of the catalog/web site cash and carry from the desk inside the "not associated" retail store.

Are they separate business units?  Obviously... But to say they are not associated is ignorant at best and an outright lie at worst.
