Quoted: wtf is the 3rd pic View Quote If all the pics load (sometimes they are not loading due to traffic, I advertised this on several sites) the third shotgun down is the South African Neostead. Its quite unique. It sports two 6 shot magazine tubes (which you can switch back and forth between) and a bullpup design. 13 shots of 12 gauge in a tiny bullpup :D Go to Combat Shotgun link and there is an link to the Neostead's manufacturer ;) RN |
|
Quoted: what kind of round is that? View Quote They are all 12 gauge shotguns featured in the above photos. What you are looking at (in the picture of the H&K Close Assault Weapon (CAW)) are all brass shotgun shells. One of the weaknesses of a shotgun is its shells. All brass shells are expensive and heavy. BUT> If you fire the shotgun repeatedly, if the chamber gets red hot, the rounds won't melt in the chamber. Also, brass is more durable than paper or plastic and water is not a problem for all brass cases (like it is for paper cases). They used all brass shotgun shell cartridges in the old days (wild west) along with paper. More recently all brass cases could be seen in Vietnam and other theatres of combat. RN |

holy dog shiit,,up till my last range visit,,I was really infactuated with my 92001A1,,with the mag extension,,oh boy broke it in caressed it loved it,,oh damm about to,,,almost a piece of ass till my friend (so I thought but come to think of it absolutly) droped my bitch into the sandy soil,,damm fuk he lifted the piece by the muzzle,,,oh god ,,my dk,,,so being me I just clean it out quickly,,actually not so quickly,,I did my best to get as much out as possible. Thank god those ffers out there that I would classify as bad guys,,were not in fact out there,,,damm,,I felt bad that this weapon of iron did not work reliably,,(spelinn not my thing) but at the same time this was no fukkken surprise! Damm! I suppose all of us would love to have the fire power(against very thin skined badguys and girls)that a slick and reliable semiauto 12ga. might/would afford. I can't help but think that this , like my hope that my wife will drop the 40lbs. to make her the piece of ass she once was ,,is also a pipe dream,,oh God! I need something to keep the dream alive,,is there anyhope? No way, need a fairly dependable shotgun,,get a pump,,and I've been around alot more semi-auto shotguns than the junglegun,,,though I must say till the chamber was absolutly filled with sand, then cleaned by shaken brushed and blow out(by mouth) and then agin,,it was a incredible weapon,,damm with the extension, it was great. nice to have a sidearm.

what happened? I have heard people complain they were too bulky, too awkward... but not unreliable. RN |

IronMike, what drugs were you on when you wrote that post? It is almost unintelligible. Take a breath between sentences and slow down.

I think the Striker gets a lot of bad press from the Street Sweeper, which looks similar but does not perform similarly, at least the one a friend of mine had.

What type of setup is that in the picture you posted ? Looks great. Where should I look to find the stock ? What type of shotgun is used in the picture ? Thanks, USMC_LB |

I have been really good this year. I want a Benelli M4 Super 90 so that I can continue to fight crime like a proper crime-fighter! Thanks, Ray PS - I left some cookies and milk next to the PC for you [<|:D>][<|:D>][<|:D>] |

Thanks, USMC_LB View Quote Hi USMC_LB If Beer_Slayer doesn't mind, I will try to asnwer for him :) Its not a kit gun or modified. That is a stock version of the High Standard Model 10 12 guage shotgun. It was manufactured during the mid 60s and early 70s. I believe it was sold to civilians, law enforcement, and some special military units. (I believe some Tunnel Rats used them in Vietnam) Unfortunately, I do not have a URL or saved article on that firearm to post for you. There was a model 10A and 10B and I forget the difference. If I find one I will post it here. 18" barrel 27" overall RN |

Thanks for the info !
I am interested in creating my own Bullpup after seeing that one.... |
|
RN,
you are right on the money. My understanding is that the model b has a removable flashlight. My model A does not. INterestingly the flashlight matches the spread pattern of 00 shot. I also learned that HS stopped making them due to lawsuits. It seems the LEO tac guys were tucking the "C" stock into their elbows instead of shoulder firing. That resulted in LOTS of dislocated elbows. I have fired plenty of buckshot through this one and beleive me it's no lightweight in the recoil department. |

Would the Neostead be US importable? That's a freaking kewl looking shotgun and IIRC it's pump action only so shouldn't it be unbanned/regulated?

Hey Beer Slayer,
What is that that is really kewl looking! Is it Semi? |

Could you post several more pics from different angles of that beauty ? |

ok let me get my camera out
Yes it's semi. But it will cycle faster than i can shoot it. |
