Proprietary, is what he said.    Would be so much better if it took S12 mags.  Not that it matters, it's just more drool-worthy vaporware that'll never make it out before the next ban, and would cost $3K if it did, with $200 mags.

As previously mentioned it looks like an updated USAS12. Weren't those classified as DDs a few years back?
Link Posted: 1/21/2009 10:15:47 AM EDT
[#31]
American manufacturers have avoided the magazine fed semi auto shotgun like the plague for fears ATF would immediately rule it a DD.

Wonder how CMMG intends to counter this? Or, if they don't care if it gets ruled DD that is going to really piss of the Saiga owners.

And classification as a DD in 3, 2, 1....................

Glad I'm not the only one who saw it and is thinking DD. That's total BS to me btw. We really need someone with some sense in there at the ATF.

Hopefully Magpul will design and make the mag.

They fell asleep at the switch.
Same way with Semiauto shotguns in khalefornistan and their AWB.

It would be a DD simply because the Attorney General doesnt think it is 'sporting'.

The AG could say a single shot 12 gauge is a DD.

Turkey has this thing. Looks like it takes modified AR mags (maybe like a .50Beo mag?). Pretty nifty.
