Called CDNN last week to order an SLR. I asked them to hold one with my credit card so I can have an FFL sent to them.
They have since sold out without holding one for me. The salesman then told me that they dont hold guns without an FFL. I told the salesman that that was the reason I gave him my credit card and if he was not going to hold it, he had no business taking my card.
He claims that he didnt charge my card, but even so, they screwed me out of my SLR.

I'm afraid this is standard business policy of most distributors. Wouldn't have been much different elsewhere. I hear ya tho!

AIM Surplus, who has a great reputation, did the exact same thing to me twice and once to a friend.  Each time, it was only for a $40 Mosin, but it was still annoying.  So, if AIM does it, then I assume that everyone also else does it, or worse.z
