Anyone else getting hit with the wind now? I found some shingles in the pool already and some random cat will not leave the side of the house.

I hope that shit doesn't make it to SD, I just got the leaves out of my pool and cleaned the filter today, from the last windstorm.  It is clear and mild right now.

All is quiet in the Bay Area. Expecting rain tomorrow. Might still go shooting. Handguns, so I won't get soaked changing targets at the 100 yard line.

A little windy in Solano County right now. Shot a limit of ducks this afternoon, pretty calm out on the water then.

Rained here pretty good yesterday afternoon. (Camp Pendleton/Oceanside)

Of course I had to take my Company out for a nice PT "stroll" in it.

It was nice and sloppy out in the hills on the fire breaks.

Anyone up in the Sierras now?  Here they are getting pounded with snow. We need it or we will be in a drought this summer.

It's supposed to rain tomorrow though, won't be able to ride the bike to work.

Quiet in the High Desert - a bit breezy but nothing out of the ordinary.  However - it has rained 4 of the last 5 days and THAT is unusual for us.

I was in that area today, but didn't notice anything in the way of actual rain.  Lots of dark clouds, but no rain.

ETA:I was in Roseville, maybe you're further south than that.

Huh? Is this supposed to be a bad storm?

I'm in Rancho Cordova; I just stepped outside and there is nothing notable about the wind.

Did you see the SWAT call-out yesterday on the news? Right down the street from me.

Sac County SWAT is now in ACU. Except for one guy in BDUs.

Hah. On Saturday mornings I go out for bike rides early in the morning. For the past couple of months it has been 38 degrees or so when I leave.

I wonder why they would use ACU? It does not even remotely work around the sac area. I guess looking like "da army" is cool.

San Gabriel Valley(5 miles east of Los Angeles), it is sunny, patchy cloulds, 60ºF, and winds are calm.. It drizzled a bit yesterday and so the ground is wet.

We are getting the sun now too. A little bit of high clouds but still sunny. I heard the valley is expecting rain again today and monday though.
