I had to fill out a form last time I bought a gun in california at the time I was living at my parents house and thats where the safe is, now that I don't live there I still have the gun at my new home. am I violating the law by not keeping the gun in the safe? do I have to move that safe to my new house?

Naw, you just gotta make the lock maker's lobby happy for the time while you're buying the gun and when you pick it up.

At least this is my opinion...
