Anyone know the reason(s) behind the expiration date? I could possibly imagine: 1. Someone doesn't want the list to grow forever and include obsolete (no longer made firearms) 2. Check to make sure guns don't change. 3. More revenue $ to recertify. 4. I think demo-crap re-election fees. They are tring to add a fee to ammo now (10 cents per round)
