Dealers would be required to alert authorities when they sell within five consecutive business days two or more semiautomatic rifles greater than .22 caliber with detachable magazines, according to the draft obtained by The Washington Post. Semiautomatic rifles such as AK-47s and AR-15s are favored by drug-trafficking organizations fighting the Mexican government.

The marijuana war is the best thing that ever happened to the federal government.

The feds can thank tricky dick for giving police statists an endless, unlimited budget to chase a fucking plant.

I can't believe it is going to be 2011, and this is where we are.

That thought process got their asses kicked initially at Waco.  I didn't miss a wink of sleep watching those cocksuckers slide off the roof of Mt. Carmel.

As bad as I hate to think about it, I do not think judges will have anything with the changes coming.  Broke ,desperate folks are a force to be reckoned with.  I do not want to be in their way , nor do I want them even to know I  exist.

regulators are proposing an emergency requirement that certain gun dealers along the southwestern border report bulk sales of so-called assault weapons beginning as soon as January.

This is the only part that seems at all questionable to me. Normally, federal rule making is national, not local/ regional and is generally applicable, not applicable to select individuals or groups.

Yeah that is strange.

Still I thought the BATFE could only require the reporting of multiple purchases of HANDGUNS?
