I'm buying a new pistol within the week.
Narrowed it down to several options: Glock 19/34 HK P30 LEM v2. I can't decide which. I'm all set up on mags, holsters, and ammo for the Glock. Only the ammo for the p30..I'd need to buy holsters and mags. |

My Glock 34 was the shit. I loved it. You will to if you shoot competitively.
My career choice though inclined me to sell in favor of a M9 though I figured it would be in my best intrest to be able to kick ass and take names with a good ole Beretta. |

Always train with what you will fight with, rather than what you should fight with. TR85. |

Glock for commonality's sake. The p30 is sweet, but I've grouped better with the 19, even though it feels awkward in my hand.
Or you could get a Beretta as stated above, if you want a truly awesome pistol |

34 or 35 with a 9 barrel and glock worx trigger parts is pretty amazing
|
|
the glock. But in true GD fashion ill ignore your options and say m&p

I would buy the HK P30 if I had the money to burn, haven't shot one but they sure look nice. But it's hard to argue with the Glock 34 as a range gun, especially if you want to tinker with it or compete someday. |

As an H&K guy, I would say go for the P30, but both are reputable handguns. Get both.

G19 gen 4. finally got rid of the stupid hump on the backstrap.
|
|
I have several Glocks, sigs, s&w's, rugers, and a taurus....My Glock 34 is my favorite gun to shoot. You will love it!
|
|
Glock...I used to be an HK fan before their prices went thru the roof.
|
|
Glock 19 was already the correct answer. If you already have a head start on mags then it's a no brainer.

G34, fuck HK.
I rarely say that about any gun maker but seriously, fuck HK. |

You guys are not helping! p30...or Glock 19/34.... Glock 34. I own three 19's and use them as my carry pieces but I have a lot of fun with my 34 at the range. It is also what I shoot at local IPSC matches. Boils down to what it's primary purpose will be for you, either way they are both wonderful handguns. |
|
Glock 19 is the best handgun ever made.
I'm wearing a raincoat and holding an umbrella for the impending shitstorm. |

The gun is intended to be a happy-me present for graduating college (last year) and getting a good paying job (now). |

Quoted: The mag release on the HK fucking SUCKS, FYI. I disagree. OP, I'd get the P30 cause I love the LEM trigger but either pistol is fine. I miss my P2000 LEM |

A number of people here have commented that the H&K customer service sucks really bad. This would do it for me, I have zero tolerance for bad customer service.

xdm 9, awesome ergos and SA customer service is second to none

Treating yourself to a Glock because you have some gear for it over a HK is like going to a whorehouse and picking the fat ugly chick over the hot one because the fattie has a pack of free condoms.
Buy the P30 and get a top name holster. You'll be GTG for life. |
|
P30 first. If you find out you don't like it later it will be easier to trade down to the Glock than the other way around.
|
|
Can't go wrong with either one. But I've owned from both Hk & Glock, and I favor more towards Glock.

Shouldn't you be getting a Sig soon? I see what you did there, and no, it won't be a sig. It'll be a gen 4 glock 22. Clever man, you are.. |
