Friends don't let friends buy Hi-Point pistols....Unless they are painted with $100 bills!

I watched a newbie shoot IDPA with one and an Uncle Mike's holster. He didn't come in last, and it functioned better that day than at least one high end 1911 and a Sig.

Mine was not reliable but a simple tweaking of the mag lips made it run fine for the next 20 rounds before I sold it as fast as I could. Feels like a brick sliding back and forth on a pretzel stick during action.

Range Troll!
Make sure you shoot wolf ammo. Maybe paint it with brass spraypaint to troll the brass junkies. |

Shit for that price Id buy 2 ... Dual wield those bitches for optimum trollin
ETA. I actually wouldnt buy 2 but I definitely think you should |

Had one. Didn't like it, although it was reliable. Traded it for a Remington Viper. I'm not sure which one of us lost on that deal.

I've decided I'm going to buy a Hi-Point C9 just as a gimmick to see my friend's faces and let anyone abuse it. I know they run reliably, but they are so ugly. I can buy a black model for $110-$140, but is the $100 dollar bill dipped model worth the extra $80 just to be extra ghetto fabulous? If I buy the black model, I want to make it obnoxious by painting it or chroming the slide. I know, CSB! http://www.egunner.com/xthumbnail.php,qpic=,hegunner-media.s3.amazonaws.com,_eb92422f8aafb6d187c3c673f1f5d2ff.jpg,aw=398.pagespeed.ic.fmFE4h737s.jpg View Quote Yeah, get that modern-era urban camo right there !! |

$80 for the hydrodip is a little rich for my blood, I think I'll buy one and stick dollar bills to it with Elmer's glue.
|
|
I picked up a 9mm carbine last week and I was finger banging it last night.
I'm thinking it is intentionally built ugly. No one could accidentally come up with something so fucked up. It had to be a joke maybe? Or is it purposely built so you can't modify it? |
|
|
Ive got one that I have put over 3K rds through. Never had a failure.
I thought it was ugly in black but Damn, the $$$ Hydro is just Nasty! I think you need to get one and try dipping at home! |

If going DYI then bedazzle that bitch. http://www.guns.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Custom-Hi-Point-5.jpg I have seen that picture dozens of times, I never noticed the gold chain. That is awesome. Those holes in the trigger are begging for bling though. |

View Quote Dang I need to sell off all my pistol kit... new competition platform right there! |

Ok, I ordered one with the $100 bill dip, I'll have it in hand next week and it's going to be epic!

Paid $50 for one from a coworker. Not the worst $50 I've ever spent. It's ugly and heavy but it works.

I have the carbine. Works fine, is fun, and nobody gives a hoot what I shoot.
|

I don't know HOW I'd get one, because my local FFL (at least my favorite one) refuses to accept those as transfers. No kidding.

Get the hi point bling addition. Call it your problem solver.
Problem solved. |
|
Can anyone confirm if they can be threaded and extended? A suppressor would be fun.

OP's panties are moist for one and he's just trying to use the "I want to do it just to see what my friends think" angle to justify it without getting his balls busted.

That kit cost nearly as much as two carbines. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
That kit cost nearly as much as two carbines. The indication was the shell w/ trigger would be around $200 or so. $500 for the carbine AND the shell. It will make HiPoint a mint. Bullpup carbine that takes 1911 mags - including the drum mags. |
