Ok, ill be honest. Im 17 and my Dad has recently bought an AR, mostly for me, but he wanted one as well. Anyways, is there an age limit on buying gun parts like a Flash Suppressor, magazine, Stocks, stuff like that? Reason why i ask is becuase im wondering if im going to have to keep buggin my dad to buy all this stuff until im 18. Thanks in advance.

Just called around and got some anwsers:

No there is no age limit to buying flashsuppressors, handguards, stocks, grips ect ect.

As long as you buy a product that is not directly associated with the functionality of the weapon (barrels, upper&lower recievers, bullets) there is no age limit.

The only controlled part is the lower receiver, thus an age limitation. All other parts are not controlled and my be bought by someone of any age.
