I am a webmaster. That is what I do full time. I am on various boards related to my industry. We frown highly upon bumping old threads. If someone bumps a thread that is on the second page, they usually catch hell for it. How old can a thread be around here & still be considered bumpable. I have already caught hell from a few keyboard warriors around here already for NOT bumping what I considered an old thread & instead making a new one.

I understand the ettiquette of doing your research on a board, instead of just joining & asking a question that has been answered over & over again. It happens all the time & you won't see it from me. I have been lurking on this board for awhile posting here & there. Most of the questions I had when I came to this board have been answered not by me asking the same old questions, but rather by doing subject searches. I have board ettiquette...

SO, what say you?

Edit to say: There was nothing in the COC about thread bumping.... There are specific rules about it on some of the other boards I am on.

Bump

I say bump them from whatever page you want to as long as it's on topic.

So what was your question again?  I lost my train of though while looking at some old threads.

WTF, over?

Actually, here (especially in GD) threads hit the second page in seconds during business hours.  At night, it can take up to ten minutes...
