Anyone know where to buy bulk frozen chicken wings?  I love the damn things and they are convenient to make, but buying the small bags at retail stores are a pain.  I want around 100qt per package.  I searched for restaurant supply on the net but have come up with nothing.

Any help here.

Sams Club or Costco is probably your best bet.

Try Sam's Club, BJ's, Costco, etc. Most places that sell bulk only sell to restaurants.

There's also a wholesale grocery place at the Farmer's Market and they sell meat and chicken. They also sell Mexican Coca-Cola made with real sugar.

I used to be a member at Sams club, but don't remember them having what I wanted.  They had the same standard bags of wings.  I want a huge ass box of chicken wings I can divide up.

10lb. bag of Tyson raw wings at Costco is in the $13-$15 range

Thats only normally 30 wings though.  There has to be somewhere I can get a 40-50 box of wings, or 100 to 200qt.  Where do restaurants buy their wings from?  I can't find anyone online who sells them.

Check with Goldkist or Tyson, they might be able to help. Both have processing plants in the Atlanta area.  Or ask at the grocery store, they'll probably let you buy a whole box.

Most restaurants buy their wings pre-seasoned.

check google map/ businesses or yellow pages for 'restaurant supply,' and also try meat processing places (place to go for process your own beef cows or dears if you not a do-it-yourselfer).

try a local restaurant supply house, if there's one near you that's open to the public.

Not the real wing places.  They buy them frozen, fry them up, thrown them in a bowl with whatever sauce they have, shake them up and serve them.

I said most... I suggest you ask a local real wing place where they get their wings, they might tell you.

You might be able to talk to your local butcher too. Either he can tell you where to go or he might be able to get them like that for you.

Dang Bill, Just last week, a truck driver was getting rid of about 15boxes of the chicken quarters for $5 bucks a box. I think he said they weighed 20lbs a piece. I bet you could have bought all 15 for $3 each. The driver can't take it back to the shipper, and is usually too far from home to take home, so a lot of drivers sell over shipments off the truck.  But thats one of those right place at the right time deals....

Try Sysco food service, if the above suggestions don't pan out. They should be able to hook you up.

Thanks, I'll try them.  I'll also try to contact my butcher tomorrow and see what he knows.  He is closed today.
