Seems like a good deal, you couldn't even get a WASR for that a few months ago.  $349 delivered.

Any idea who makes these?

I don't have the foggiest idea.  Try posting this in the AK-47 section of Arfcom.  Better yet, check out www.theakforum.net.

No idea, but I would get the TGI-74 truck gun for $50 more.

It is a Century, but it is not the Polish Tantal variant which had all the problems.

Yeah, about 6 months ago, Centerfire had the TGI Bulgarians (with Nodak Spud receivers) for about $400, I got one of those, and it is a great gun.

I have heard that these are Century builds, so, you know...

1) Is it possible/easy to swap out the fixed stock on these for a folding stock like the one on the AKS-74?

2) Is any 5.45 x 39 manufactured domestically?

1) Don't know, as folding stock always turns into shitty precision for me.

2) Who cares, have you seen to price of the surplus Russian stuff?

Yeah, yeah, one day it will be gone, and when it is, Privi or someone will step up and produce––just too many gun sold in that caliber not to.

As for now, buy cheap, stack deep (hell, you can get many thousand rounds to stack up-one tin tuna can is over 1K or rounds!!).

If I had had the extra cash I'd snatch one of those up in a heartbeat. For that price, who gives a shit who makes it.

Fuck, you can barely find an SKS for that much anymore, let alone an AK.
