Reset the inertia switch in the passenger kick panel.

Bar the engine over with a 24 MM socket and make sure it goes around twice.

If it does, start up with the passenger side aftercooler hose off the engine intake to expel any oil that might be in the cooler core.

Geos are surprisingly capable offroad when piloted by somebody who gives zero fucks.
Buddy of mine had one as a beater.

Meh glanced for half a second statistics were on my side.  Kind of like guessing at news stories without reading them

ETA:  apparently a lot of butt hurt Dodge Owners in this thread, glory hole must be slow today

He needed a brodozer to go on a road a Suziki Cultus could handle

Next time he should lift it even higher and drive even faster.

If it were me I would pull the glow plugs, place the valve covers back on and crank it over for a little bit.  There is a spot to ground out the injectors so they wont fire so the truck wont try and start(the name is escaping me at the moment)

No, you just don't know a Ford from a Dodge from a Chevy but it's everyone else's fault.

I believe this guy nailed it for what to do(assuming it is not on its side any longer).

But really I want to know.......how did it get that way given the looks of the road?

The roads sloppy and he slid into a culvert at like just the right angle(or wrong angle :)  )

Probably going a bit to fast for conditions if I had to guess

Hey, but at least he's not a fudd.

He runs rails and a red dot on his 30-30

Flip that Dodge over, change the spark plugs on that 6.8 liter 350, shoot a little ether into the Holley Super Double Pump, put that 4L80 into drive and drive home!
Link Posted: 4/18/2016 9:41:50 PM EDT
Get that Dodge right side up, then pull the spark plugs and run the starter to pump the oil out of the cylinders.

Link Posted: 4/18/2016 9:44:16 PM EDT
What to do now?

Flip on its wheels. Pull spark plugs, turn over to get any oil out of cylinder .

Clean oil from spark plugs. Reinstall them.

Start as normal and hold gas pedal to floor to 5000 rpm for 2 minutes.

Good as new.

Eta. Beat by minutes while typing. Slow and old. Sucks.

Those lights aren't extreme in any way for the road he is on and the likelihood that other roads nearby aren't fully lit up with streetlights.  Some basic lights to augment the older headlights, and then a roof mounted spot light.

None of that is over the top.  Are they too much for you?

It's dark as shit out here our closest streetlight has gotta be about 20 miles away

If your driving around in a field at night the more light the better
