Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Broadband Technician...how much money?

Anyone know how much money broadband techs make?  As in installing CATV and BB internet?  I really hate my job...pulled another all-nighter.  Thanks.

We hire techs with these skills for about $20-$25 an hour starting - tech level 1.

FYI we require SBE.org certifications which bring a bit of a premium.

(Don't look at Adelphia cable if you're planning for your long term future!)

Well my former employers covered our costs into the installation fees, but anything beyond the typical setup and I'm billed at $150/hour and I get commission on sales and extra work that is contracted.
