I was surprised a news anchor actualy got it right.  

Britt Hume described Moveon.org's new add how it  bags on Bush for letting the AWB die, and now AK-47's that shoot 300rds per miniute can now be bought by terrorists.  These weapons can kill hundreds in the hands of a terrorist.

He then said that  these weapons have been banned since 1934 National fireams act and very briefly described the Extensive background check and LEO sign off required to buy these weapons now.
