THANKS!

And like I have said before, if you or any of our foreign members make it to this side of the pond, let us know.  I am sure we can make it a trip to remember.

Wait a minute.  According to DU, we're blocking planes already loaded in Canada and Germany, how come we aren't blocking those Limey planes?

I see "Drink Powder Orange" and "Drink Powder Lemon", but no "Drink Powder Guinness Stout".  What gives?

Big thanks to you and your countrymen, Andy.

Plenty, we are sending tankers full of that to the US as well, but how does 97p a Litre grab ya?… that's what I paid today to fill up…

That's $6.75 a gallon…

ANdy

Yes, that's quite a bit.  The last time I was across the pond, it was approx 55-60p per liter.

I guess that was almost ten years ago.

I will be willing to sample a full course of the UK MREs, just to find out what is a "Biscuit, service brown" .

I have been known to eat smoked oysters with hot sauce over Triscuit with a steaming hot cup of coffee.  I can eat almost anything and in great quantities.  Just ask the Austin TX crowd.

Thanks to our friends, the Brits!

BTW, when I was eating breakfast in my hotel in Witney, I was tempted to take the chef aside and explain that sausages should be fried, not boiled!

I respect the British more and more every day.  They simply get shit done.

Terrorism on their soil?  No problem, bus service running the same day, gotta get home you know.

Still not convinced?  How about doing what I wish the U.S. would do, kick out those f*cking lunatic extreme Muslims preaching the destruction of the very country they're in?

And of course lets not forget that they're our staunchest ally in Iraq.

Thanks Brits!  You guys are great, and know how to brew a decent beer too!

Our friends from across the pond hasn't forgotten us

Some prime rib medium rare and yorkshire pudding for me.

I bet those vegetarian MREs taste really, really good if you haven't eaten anything for 3 or 4 days.
