how about this:  airstrikes to neutralize defensive bunkers, then a series of bombings.  I dont want to drop explosives, though.  I advocate the usage of trash-warfare.  The world as a community has a problem of waste disposal.  As the US can control the airspace and therefore tax for the use of it, we can solve a problem for the world and for ourselves.
