I used to get them from a friend who owned a bowling center. They wear out after a while and need replaced. I used to give him a little $$ but they were destined for the garbage bin. I could have probably waited till he pitched him, but then again, what's a friend anyway?

I allways just ask for them. But then again it might help if you play a couple of games first.

We use to give them away , bowl a couple of games . Get friendly with the equipment repairer , sometimes there a real demand for them and its first come first serve .( P.S. a good bribe wouldn't hurt either )

My brother gets them for me.  He is a team bowler and just asks for them.
