Jim Black tonight. What are y'all drinking?
Plain old Beam & coke.
Try the Knob Creek straight rye. Good stuff. |
Drinking Jack Daniels Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey. Feeling no pain tonight!

Ow, Captain Morgan I see I'm not picky. You have Blanton's, you must be a gentleman. Me...not drinking tonight. |

I had a Buffalo Trace lullaby before bed last night, slept like a baby.
I've been on an Early Times kick lately. It's not technically bourbon because it's not aged in new barrels but I love it with a little ice!

George Dickel No. 12. One of the best bourbons for the price. Despite the fact that it's not allowed to call itself "bourbon". NOT a bourbon... ...bourbon. http://liquor.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Dickel.jpg View Quote The ability to call it bourbon is based on the mash bill (and aging process), not the location it was distilled. Bourbon is bourbon, anything not meeting the legal requirements is not. |

Jim Beam Green.
I had never had it before, but it is quite pleasant for a lower-middle range bourbon. |
started off on the last swig of scotch in the house.
I'm on my second Buffalo Trace now |
A local micro malted rye whisky with home-made lemongrass dry soda, and my own home-made dry cider. Maybe some of my own pre-prohibition style pilsner later.
More Jim Black tonight. It's my favorite cheap bourbon. I've got a bottle of Elijah Craig 12 year I much partake in tomorrow.
