Wife is on a girls night out and I need a man's movie. I LOVED the first Boondock Saints.... will I be disappointed?

The second was painful to watch. The same jokes from the original...re-hashed...not longer funny...forced...over the top...

The road is a terrible movie. Super boring.

Boondock Saints 2 is ok. It is mindless like the first one. Don't expect any more out of it and you will be satisfied. I agree with others here that it was too similar to the 1st and the woman is pretty damn annoying.

It had its moments, I was a huge fan of the first one, this one was found lacking in a lot of respects, almost like it tried to be too much like a reboot of the first one with more production value.

Worth watching once

My friend, I will watch any POS movie I can get my hands on if I haven't seen it. I turned this one off about halfway through, and I honestly don't think I've ever done that before.

the bad guys are grossly incompetant, julie benz has a shitty character, action sucked, smecker and rocko show up but its done so badly its sad. the other cops are even more retarded. and the mexican guy is about as mexican as obama is an american. hes annoying and a terrible rocko replacement. i hated the movie. i like to pretend there is no sequal.

nowhere near as good as the first one. They basically rehashed all the original stuff from the first one. I lost interest about halfway through but kept watching just to see how it ended. I could have just as well turned it off midway through.

Worst movie I've seen in a long time. Couldn't finish it. Watch the documentary about Troy Duffy instead. It will make you feel better about it.

I mean come on! They replaced the Willem Dafoe character with some no name actress who wasnt even a real southerner and couldnt do a fake southern accent! I thought I was watching some high school art class movie. Where the hell did they get that bitch.. off of Craigslist?
The story COULD have worked if Duffy had just made the movie 5 years ago and skipped the female character.

Part 1 was epic and will forever live in many peoples memories. Part 2.....MEH

You know that you have to see it, if for nothing more than the fact that you saw the first one. It was alright. The idiotic Deagles lowered some of the points for me, but the mexi-colt was kind of cool in a bbq gun sort of way.

Go in expecting crap or nothing, and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Go in expecting something as good as the original, and you'll be sorely disappointed.
