It's a beautiful day down here.  Time for some coffee. The empty whisky bottle needs  an antidote.

I can't tell if that's Downtown Austin, or France.

I guessing Austin due to the lack of white flags that would be flying if it were France.

Compromise and call it New Orleans...

Ah, excellent. So they smell slightly less like piss and puke. A fresh start to the day, the time when eveyone is filling their stomachs with what they will hurl onto the pavement in ten or so hours.

I've got Sunday brunch reservations there, the day before the Dolphins visit New Orleans for Monday Night Football on 09/30.

Never been to The Court before, but I heard from a friend and LSU alum that their brunch beats Brennan's. Looking forward to the whole damn weekend!

A little Commanders Palace, MNF, Bourbon Street/French Quarter, lots of oysters at every meal, it should be fun.

Go have a few beers at St. Lawrence on N. Peter's, just a few blocks from where you took your pic. Great food and great beer list.

If you get bored PM me, I may be able to  grab a beer with you.

Is it true that the Navy Base there got shut down?  That's where I stayed when I was there last - I guess 10 years ago now.  Really cheap, and a short walk to Bourbon street.

No sailors in evidence.
I did get a military discount under protest using my USAA card.
I told them it was my dad, not me.
They didn't give a fuck. 15% off

I've not been to France, but my impression is that the French are flirters.  It doesn't mean they all actually want to carry things out, it's just that they enjoy the process of harmless flirting.

Of course if you're walking around in that Canadian banana hammock and they're flirting, all bets are off.
