I am currently in search of
Battlefield 2:Special Forces players who would be interested in being a "body" in an upcoming BF2 Video. A current project (screenshots shown above) is already in the works wherein a video is being created to enter a "BF2 Video Contest". The due-date for submission is
May 1st. Research is complete, the intro video is done, and Scene I has already been scheduled for
Sunday, April 2nd, 8:30 PM EST.
This project has the backing of a clan in addition to a devoted "passworded" server and TeamSpeak.I am looking for "mature" players only who will be willing to participate.
This project has techicnal advisors ranging from Photoshop Techs, BF2 Map Editors, and retired military (including a retired USMC Major) who served in a multitude of capacities, including combat in Haiti and Somalia. The goal of this video is hardcore realism and to show the military might of our American Troops in combat.
Unfortunately I am unable to list any more information about the video here as if this project goes "public", the video will be disqualified from the contest. Whomever is chosen will be completely involved w/ the project. I'm also including my portfolio to give you an idea of what kind of work I've done in the past, including three (3) BF2 video's. Complete Online PortfolioI Wait For You ThereFamiliar Faces100-SecondsBelow is a storyline synopsis for the background of the video which is in the "works".
Storyline A Blackhawk carrying Civilian Contractors had taken heavy small arms and Rocket Propelled Grenade fire while flying over Central Baghdad from ground Insurgent Forces that had entered the city. The "injured" chopper had tried to make it to Camp Headhunter in the area however could not make the last few miles.
The Blackhawk was last seen banking hard to the left and finally coming down in the area of Talil Square in Central Baghdad. All of this was seen by American Forces on the ground patrolling from Camp Headhunter. After the quick report back to Camp, a rapid response force comprising of forces from the 9th Cav was deployed to Talil Square to rescue the contractors.
Brief History Lesson The 1st Battalion 9th Cav were inactivated and no longer serve in Iraq. They however were a key element while serving in Camp Headhunter in Central Baghdad and were in conflicts ranging from Haifa Street to Talil Square (a hotbed of Insurgent activity) while in Iraq. September 2004 FOB/Camp Headhunter was renamed to Camp Independence.
Two Abrams tanks attached to Task Force 1/9 maneuver through central Baghdad’s Talil Square during a sporadic firefight with anti-Iraqi forces. Anyone who is interested, please contact me at
[email protected]. Any questions regarding it can be posted in this thread.
